Dr. Ping He Attended the Military Parade of 70th Anniversary of End of World War II
On September 3, 2015, Dr. Ping He attended the military parade of the 70th Anniversary of End of World War II and Japan’s Defeat in Beijing as a specially invited overseas Chinese representative.
A total of 1700 overseas Chinese representatives from 135 countries and territories were invited to the military parade. The representatives included the offsprings of Anti-Japan War heroes, veterans, Namchow mechanic, Chinese descents from American Volunteer Group and other Chinese groups with great contribution to Anti-Japan War. It also included the important overseas Chinese leaders and elites.
It is significant that overseas Chinese representatives were invited to the military parade, not only to look back the history of the overseas Chinese collaborating with motherland Chinese combating common enemy and living through the national crisis, but also to inherit Chinese tradition and give a lesson to the future generation, in hope that the overseas Chinese will remember their Chinese blood and continue to love their motherland and hometown, contribute to the development and exchanges between China and their residence, so as to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
