Report: A Discussion on U.S. – China Environmental Technology Trade and Cooperation

The conference on U.S. – China Environmental Technology Trade and Cooperation was held on October 9th, 2015 at Foley Lardner LLP in Washington, D.C. The event was co-sponsored by the International Fund for China’s Environment (IFCE) and the Center for US-China Technology, Innovation and Development (UCTID). Hosted by River (Qu) Duan, the president of UCTID,  the conference invited Mr. Jun Yang,  CEO of China Tech-Bank and Helen Yang,  general manager of China Tech-Bank as speakers and representatives from Embassy of P.R.China, U.S Environmental Protection Agency, World Bank, environmental technology companies, urban planning institutes and law firms.


The conference has successfully built up the bridge of cooperation between China and the United States in environmental technology communications. After the conference, guests expressed that they have gained further understanding in China-U.S. marketing trend and future development of environmental technologies. With the help of China Tech-Bank,  The representatives from the United States hope to strengthen the technology bond with China through China Tech-Bank and make joint effort on bilateral development of the environmental industry between the two nations.
